What’s On this Christmas at Newton Court
The festive season is here, and we’ve filled our calendar with plenty of ways to eat, drink and be merry. From hearty local food to live music and mulled cider, there’s something for everyone to enjoy at Newton Court this Christmas.
Steak Night – Thursday 20th November from 6pm
Our much-loved monthly Steak Night returns! Join us for an evening of great food and good company, featuring locally sourced steaks from our trusted butcher A.H. Griffiths, served with all the trimmings. Round off your meal with one of our homemade desserts and a drink from the bar — choose from our wide range of ciders, local ales, wines, and spirits. It’s the perfect way to warm up for the festive season.
Festive Farm Shop Launch – Saturday 22nd November from 5pm
Get into the Christmas spirit at our Farm Shop Retail Launch — a celebration of local produce, crafts, and community. Enjoy tastings from local suppliers, live music from a band and carol singers, and festive fun for all ages with Christmas decoration painting.
We’ll also be serving mince pies, mulled cider, and festive snacks to keep everyone cosy as you browse and shop.
Christmas Shopping at the Farm Shop
From 24th November through to Christmas Eve, our Farm Shop will be brimming with festive treats and thoughtful gifts. Discover stocking fillers, homewares, jewellery, skincare, confectionery, and pantry favourites, all carefully chosen from local and artisan suppliers.
And of course, don’t forget our own award-winning cider and perry, perfect for gifting or enjoying at home.
Christmas Lunches – 24th November to 24th December
Celebrate the season with friends, family, or colleagues over our special Christmas Lunch Set Menu. Available daily from the 24th November right up to Christmas Eve, it’s the perfect way to enjoy the tastes of the season in our cosy barn cafe.

Christmas Party Nights – Friday 12th & Saturday 13th December
Get your dancing shoes ready! We’re hosting two festive party nights filled with food, fun, and live music from The Road Knights. Each evening includes a welcome drink, a three-course festive feast, and plenty of time to dance the night away.
Gather your friends, family, or workmates and make this Christmas one to remember at Newton Court.
Festive Afternoon Teas
Join us for a touch of seasonal indulgence with our Festive Afternoon Teas, running from Tuesday 25th November, available every Tuesday to Saturday from 12pm – 3pm.
Enjoy a delicious selection of homemade treats, including brie, leek & cranberry quiche, a selection of finger sandwiches with classic fillings such as turkey & cranberry and smoked salmon & cream cheese, plus a tempting array of mini cakes featuring fresh cream scones, Christmas fruitcake, raspberry macarons, and a clementine & raspberry posset.
Each afternoon tea includes unlimited tea and coffee, along with a glass of fresh apple juice or our own First Press cider. The festive afternoon tea is £28pp and for an extra touch of sparkle, you can upgrade to a glass of prosecco for £5!
